Terms of service
Who we are
Isoponet is run by AOSA Innovations ("Isoponet", "we", "us"), BN 7788306, 36 Molipa Road, Molipa, Ogun State, Nigeria. By signing in to the Isoponet WiFi you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The service
We give you internet access over WiFi at a student hostel near Ijebu Ode, for the plan you have bought. The internet comes from a shared Starlink satellite connection. Speeds on Plans are the most a plan allows, not a promise of what you will get at every moment.
The service can be interrupted by power cuts, bad weather, faults and maintenance. We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, and you should not rely on it for emergencies.
Your login and WiFi code
- Your login and WiFi code are for you. Do not share them. Everything done with them is recorded as you.
- If you lose your code or think someone else has it, tell us at once. We can make a new one, and your devices will need to sign in again.
- Your plan allows a set number of devices online at the same time. Do not try to get round that limit.
Plans, payments and your wallet
- Prices are in naira, as shown on Plans. The price of a plan is fixed when you buy it.
- You pay by bank transfer or cash into your wallet, and buy plans from it. Money counts once a person at Isoponet has confirmed it. Details are on How to pay.
- A plan runs for its days from when it starts. If you buy one while another is running, it starts when the running one ends. A plan with a data allowance ends when the data is used up or the days run out, whichever comes first, and unused data is lost when the days end.
- Nothing renews by itself, and we take nothing from you automatically.
- Refunds are covered on Refunds.
- Price changes: 7 days' notice; plans already bought keep their price.
Using the network
You must not use Isoponet to:
- do anything that is against the laws of Nigeria;
- attack, break into or disturb another network, computer or person, or send spam or malware;
- let other people use your login.
What we record
We record which login and device used the network, and when, as Nigerian rules for internet providers require. We do not record the websites or apps you use, or what you send or receive. The privacy notice explains this in full.
Suspending or ending your access
We may suspend or end a login that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being misused. We record the reason, and you can ask us what it was by contacting support. If your access ends for a reason that is not your fault, we will deal with any unused wallet money as set out on Refunds.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from the service being slow, interrupted or unavailable, or from what you do or find online. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under Nigerian law that cannot be taken away.
Changes
We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it took effect.
The law that applies
Governing law and courts: The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; the courts of Ogun State.
